And subbing really showed me that I did not have what it takes to be a teacher! That's why I started subbing originally- to see if I wanted to go back and get licensed- but after a half day I was wiped out, and I did not even have to grade or deal with parents! I respect all those who teach (or have taught) because it is really exhausting, thankless work. I don't think I could do it.
