Happy Valentine's Day
In case you can't read that, it says, "Valentine," under the big glittery part. We don't typically do much for Valentine's Day, but I do like to make a card for Steven each year.
In case you're wondering how I stamped a glittery word, I used this stuff:
It's a glue stamp pad. I'd never used it before, so my first attempt here was a bit undefined. It's not too good for lettering, I learned. It's a little messy to use, but with a more clearly-defined stamp than my Valentine one, I think it could create a lovely, glittery effect.
I hope everyone has a happy Valentine's Day!

Anne Marie,
What a pretty card--and a nice gesture for your special Valentine. =)
Beautiful card! I love seeing your glittery creations - I don't think I've ever really seen and glitter cards, so it's been a neat introduction.
I made all my valentine cards too this year. Being recently unemployed, I was trying to save a few bucks (as you know, cards are ridiculously expensive). And according to my sister, my nieces and nephew liked my personalized, handmade cards better than the boring Hallmark ones, anyway. Plus I got to exercise my under-used creativity muscle! :-)
Thank you to both of you!
Sue, I'm sorry to hear you're recently unemployed. I hope that changes quickly for you!
I got to play with my friend's embossing powder one time, and that stuff is way cool! I would highly recommend it for lettering.
Amy, I love embossing powders! They do produce a much cleaner look. But I had to try my new glue pad... Thankfully, my husband doesn't expect perfection in his Valentines.
