Disciple Now 2010: Grow

It's been over a week since I've posted. I meant to post about Disciple Now with our youth group all last week, but I had some medical stuff going on, and I just didn't feel up to blogging.

Disciple Now 2010: Grow was a success. We had nearly 30 students attend this year, which may not sound like much, but we're a small church. Thirty students is HUGE. A group of college students from Howard Payne University came down to lead our youth. They had a really great band, as well as a talented speaker. Our students really connected with these college kids and had a great time with them.

The kids stayed in host homes for the entire weekend, but we did meet up at the church for worship times and the park for recreation. It was a great weekend of spiritual growth and fellowship for our students.
