I posted last month about
air drying more of our laundry to save on wear and tear of our clothes, but also to save on electricity. Well, it worked! I just received our latest electric bill. In the month that I've been doing more air drying, our electric bill has gone down by $22! The last 2 months have been similar in electricity usage: no heat, no AC (well, I did turn it on over the weekend, but it's barely run), lights and appliances getting approximately the same use. The only real difference has been use, or rather non-use, of the dryer.

Small changes really can make a difference!

That's great news! I've been thinking about getting one of those retractable clothes lines that you can mount above your tub/shower. It's better for the clothes, too, if you air dry them.
