Merry Christmas
It didn't all get done, but that's okay. It's about celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, not about how many cute projects we can create or the amazing gifts we can give. When all is said and done, I'm just happy to be in a loving marriage, have a wonderful family, belong to a fabulous Bible-believing church, and have the freedom to worship the Lord openly. I have everything I need, some of what I want, and I'm blessed to have enough to share with others.
My sincere wish for all of you is that you have a beautiful Christmas with your loved ones and remember the real reason we celebrate.

HI there.. Found your blog on facebook..
The title blew me away with laughter.
Just one question... How did u adapt to the so called "jedi lifestyle" of comics, collectables, toys.. etc
Reason being.. My future wife woould need some pointers :P
And tell your husband.. There is one "RETURN" and that is of the KING in LOTR..
May the force be with you :P
How do you adapt? I don't really know. My husband wasn't really into this stuff when we met and married. It gradually crept in. And actually, I've always found it fun. We used to go on late-night runs to Walmart or Target to look for the latest action figure. It was fun, quality time together. And I can't really complain about the costuming stuff, either. These guys do so much for charity, and we've had some really amazing opportunities come our way because of the Star Wars thing.
So, pointers? If you're dating a girl who doesn't tolerate your hobby, then you probably don't want to stay with her long term. It always makes me sad when I hear about guys selling their collections or giving up their costuming because their wives or girlfriends are making them. Something seems wrong about that.
Oh, I will say that having a dedicated space for your collection (in our home, it's The Star Wars Room) helps. I think his hobby is great, but I don't want The Millennium Falcon on my living room mantel. ;-)
A belated very Merry Christmas. I saw the 501st at Philadelphia's annual Mummers parade...Rocky slayed Darth Vader.
