I showed you a couple of weeks ago the super-cool set-up my husband made for me in his Star Wars room for my treadmill. It's wonderful, but one thing was lacking...
It needed a fan. There's a ceiling fan in the room, but I can't even feel it when I'm on the treadmill. It's hot in there.
The fan I bought comes with a wall mount/stand, so that's how it's managing to rest on the treadmill display. It's not mounted there; it's just resting. I've had it on full blast, and it doesn't even shift during a workout. Easy upgrade that makes workouts so much more pleasant!

Fans near treadmills are a good thing. :) I was at the apartment gym yesterday and sweat was pouring down my back -- so yuck!
The gym does have a ceiling fan, but there is a right and wrong direction to have the fan blades turning (thus the little switch on most fans) and this fan is going the direction that pulls hot air down on you. I can't make up my mind whether it is better with or without the fan. :)
When we bought our treadmill I opted for a model with a fan and it was soooo worth it. Even with the a/c on and the ceiling fan in that room, I need that treadmill fan, too.
