Smart Purchase

If I were to rank my best household purchases ever, this would make the top 10:

I bought my steam vac several months ago when Kohl's was having a massive sale. I don't regret it one bit.

Last night I worked on the stain in the living room carpet caused by someone (not me) leaving his glass of iced tea on a table for a certain cat (not Calvin) to knock over. I also went over the mat by the back door and a filthy rug from our youth room. There's not a lot of hope for that rug (although there was some improvement), but the tea stain in the living room lightened considerably. This is what came up:

Gross, huh? I blame the tea and teenager filth.

I think we should get one of these too! It's probably a must for anyone with pets and carpet. ;-) We've rented a carpet cleaner about halfway through our lease at every apartment we've lived in, but I bet owning one would be much more cost efficient.

I absolutely loved mine. It was the best purchase for my big house, 4 kids,2dogs and 2 cats. I think I used it every week. I wish I had one here. I could really use it, but they only sell one kind and it is about $550. Oh well.

Ashley, I think we paid $80 for ours. It was a really good sale!

Cheryl, $550? Ouch! Cindy had one, too, when she lived here. You know, the 4-kid thing... I was a little irritated that she gave it to a friend instead of me when they moved to England. :-( Oh, well!
