If you're a regular here, you're seeing that some things are different. WAY different. My sweet stormtrooper decided my blog needed a more customized look, so he redesigned things for me! He made it pink and "Martha Stewart green," to use his terminology, just because he loves me. Isn't he the best?
*Edited to add: Okay, maybe he's not so awesome. He just told me that it looks like Barbie vomited all over my blog. Then he said it's very me. I'm not sure what to make of those two comments together.

I LOVE IT! Look at the Imperial symbols up there! I'm so jealous!!! Very good work, Steven!!!
I'm loving the header!! SO is that you standing next to your hubby? Is he really that tall or is it the suit?
Thank you, Ann. I'm quite pleased with it!
Ashley, yes, that's me. Yes, he's almost a foot taller than me; however, the helmet adds a little extra height. He said that I look like a child in that picture next to him. I told him he's just freakishly tall. ;-)
Wow! The new design is so bright and cheerful. It is a little pink for me, but very spring. I like the header a lot!
My husband is over a foot taller than me, too. He is 6'5" so I can't imagine how tall he'd be in a stormtrooper costume. (The fact that he would never be caught dead in one is beside the point. I can dream, right?)
I like the new design. I think it looks very Spring-y and clean looking. I like the new banner, too. You look very cute standing next to your stormtrooper. I also think that your husband's comments sound just like a typical guy.
Wait a second, I just noticed your edit. I LOVE pink and green together. Love it. I love all the little details, like the symbols at first glance look like flowers but they're not :) And how EMPIRE looks like it's right off the cover of the movie, and the tagline is awesome, living life as a stormtrooper's wife! The combination of pretty with masculine is perfect. I love it. I personally wouldn't change a thing. And, just so you know, I never liked Barbies. So it does not look like a Barbie vomited on it haha. When I played Star Wars Galaxies my character always ran around in pink armor. Truly. Pink composite. Okay now I'm rambling and getting too carried away.
I like it much better than the other one. And I love Steven's comment. He is too funny! Very sweet of him to do the blog makeover for you.
But I would never ever stand next to him in uniform. I am 5 ft tall and would look like a dwarf.
Nice! I like the pink and green together.
I would wonder about the comments coming together like that too... but not too much! After all, HE did the redesign, right?? LOL!
Again, thanks, everyone! I didn't realize how crappy the old blog was until I got a new one with a customized header!
Beth, you can tell your husband he'd make a great Darth Vader.
Anne, Steven calls me a hobbit. He says I come from a hobbit family. He hates taking family pictures with us because he towers over everyone. I'm the shortest one there when we're with his family.
Thank you, Dax, for the cute comment. I'd like to eventually take a better picture with him, like maybe one where my hair doesn't look stringy! I've ordered a pink 501st t-shirt, so hopefully the next pic I'll be in something other than black!
Cathy, he DID redesign things, but it was with me standing over his shoulder. He did it "barbie vomit" pink because he knows how much I love pink. He threw the green in there because he couldn't deal with ALL pink. ;-)
Ann, I didn't like Barbies, either. I did like Barbie's horse, though.
Fun! Why do we Star Wars wives seem to go for the pink? My blog is pink too.
Anne Marie,
Love the fun new look!
My husband is two inches shorter than me, so I want to get him a stormtrooper outfit. I always think we look funny standing next to each other ;-)
