I hauled the suitcases over to the armoire to put my clothes back inside. Instead, the cats both decided the cubbies make excellent hidey-holes. They really don't know how to be helpful.
Shelly's favorite household chore is "helping" to make the bed. When the sheets come off, she hops up onto the mattress and poses sultrily right in the center of it. Then she refuses to move. I have to pick her up to get her off the bed. Repeat as necessary with the fitted sheet and the top sheet. Once the comforter is back in place, she plunks herself down there as well. But only as long as I remain in the room...
What would we do without our feline household help?
Cathy, Doogie loves to "help" when I change the sheets, too. When I'm in the mood, I'll play with him with the sheets, but sometimes he's just unceremoniously dumped on the floor.
Anne, I'm okay with their being in suitcases, as long as they're just sitting. A few years ago, Calvin PEED in my suitcase moments before I had to leave to drive four hours to make it to a bridal luncheon. Not only did I have to find all new outfits to pack, but I had the embarrassment of having to call the bride's mother to explain why I'd be late.
I'm Anne Marie, a SAHW married to a Star Wars collector and stormtrooper. (I enjoy reminding my husband that those cute little furry ewoks kicked some serious stormtrooper butt!) I am a Christian, a former English teacher, and a mom to 2 spoiled cats and our surprise baby boy.

Oh, man... They do love to get in the way, huh?

Ah, kitties... how they always find a cozy spot to sit in, which just happens to be a suitcase you need to pack or a closet you need to arrange. :)
One of my kitties (the baby) is currently sitting right here, blocking half of the screen. :o)
